The simple translation meaning that if you change lenders you will be required to obtain a new appraisal. An appraisal report is privacy protected by: The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act(GLBA), also known as the Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999. This prevents an appraiser from disclosing any information to Anyone (including a homeowner), A new bank ect. except the original 'client'.
